The first conference day will focus on climate decision-making and the perspective of Arctic youth on climate change, and it includes speeches and panel discussions. The second day consists of the presentations by researchers and discussions about the well-being of youth and viability of Arctic cities,  rights of present and future generations, energy politics in the Arctic, organizational perspective, security, natural resources and EU’s Arctic policy.

 

The conference is organized by the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland and the City of Rovaniemi.
