You are invited to attend the Greenland Science Week conference in Nuuk, December 1-5, 2019.

The first Greenland Science Week (GSW), which is arranged by Ilisimatusarfik, AAU Arctic, Greenland Perspective and Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, serves as a platform for a meeting between international and Greenlandic researchers. The main purpose of GSW 2019 is to kick-start a dialogue among institutions, business and research and to facilitate knowledge cooperation with local communities in Greenland. The secondary purpose of GSW is to consolidate Greenlandic academia around an Arctic science agenda, and GSW 2019 is the first cross-disciplinary initiative that is committed to Arctic research as well as Greenlandic issues.

Alongside a one-day academic conference (Polar Research Day), several additional science events are planned and organized. All that, a Public Outreach Day, workshops around Nuuk, seminars, receptions and networking activities make up the Greenland Science Week.
