The event is funded by project Transformative Teacher Education for the Sustainable North, funded by UArctic Norwegian project funding.

The first day of two-day summit focuses on themes of education for culturally and linguistically diverse children, multilingualism and worldview constructions. On the second day there will be a visit to a local international school.

The summit aims to bring together teachers, teacher educators and policy makers to discuss contemporary issues experienced in multicultural North. The programme provides versatile views on issues of education in multicultural north: there will be wide range of research presentations, but also a panel discussion that opens the perspective of practitioners and master and doctoral students. All teachers, teacher educators, local authorities, policy makers and researchers are warmly welcome to participate!
