Parliamentarians from all the Arctic countries have for a long
time been strong supporters of University of the Arctic. In his letter
to the Premiers of Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Minister
John Duncan, Mr. Høglund expresses deep concern about the dramatic cut
in funding for UArctic in Canada.

The Chair of SCPAR Mr. Morten Høglund has written a letter to Canadian
authorities in support of continued strong Canadian funding of the
University of the Arctic.
